Azita Ghanizada

Azita An. Ghanizada (born in Afghanistan) is an Afghan American Actress in the United States. She has been featured in numerous television shows. Her birthplace was in Kabul, Afghan. Her parents left for the US where they were granted asylum. She is the middle of with two brothers and sisters, and was raised to a young age in Northern Virginia. Ghanizada got her start on the television scene through a handful of National Commercials. Ghanizada's performance on the Laura Neri 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose as Chiara was nominated for the Best Actress award at one of the festival. The actress was a guest star in several television shows, like How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars Wedding Bells Num3RS Bones Psych & Castle. Her most recent roles include the role of a supporting character in Blood Shot, (2009) inspired by the science-fiction film Blood Shot and independent comedy You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada has been cast in her role in the General Hospital spinoff General Hospital that aired on prime time television. In season 2 called Night Shift Ghanizada was Dr. Saira Bhatra who is an holistic physician. Ghanizada was cast as Kelly the Prada salesgirl in HBO Entourage.
